Web host and domain registrar GoDaddy has announced it will update its product lines as part of a ‘Summer 2016’ promotion. With headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona, United States, GoDaddy is one of the biggest providers of hosting and domain names globally. The company’s brand is recognized globally, and it was made famous in the United States for its risqué Super Bowl commercials and the “GoDaddy Girls” who starred in them.
The company specializes in catering to smaller companies by offering services that enable them to establish a viable internet presence. Its portfolio extends from cloud servers and cloud applications to website builders and Office 365 options. GoDaddy’s latest updates are in line with the company’s “continual push to make it easier for small businesses around the world to start, grow and successfully run their own businesses”.
Enhancements to its domain range include the launch of generic top-level domains (gTLDs) such as .SALON, .GROUP, and .LTD. The company has also enhanced its GoDaddy Investor mobile app which now supports 15 new languages and offers new auction features. The company has also launched GoDaddy Cloud Servers in Asia, Europe and Latin America and established a forum for customers to “discuss GoDaddy Cloud topics”.
GoDaddy has also added a data center on the East Coast of the United States to “better serve Eastern US and Latin America managed WordPress customers”, while its security offerings have also been enhanced through the offering of automated malware cleanup service SiteLock 911. It has also made Office 365 offerings available to small businesses across Asian markets.
